Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) are the central point of interaction between a user and a machine, system, or process. They are a critical component of modern automation and control systems, providing a visual representation of real-time data and allowing operators to control and manage industrial processes.
Key features of HMI products include:
Touchscreens and Displays: They serve as the primary visual and interactive medium.
Data Visualization: They can display live data in the form of graphs, charts, and digital readouts.
