Pinch Valves
Pinch Valves
A pinch valve is a type of flow valve that uses a flexible, internal sleeve to control the flow of a fluid. The valve operates by "pinching" the sleeve to shut off, reduce, or allow flow.Because the flowing media only contacts the flexible sleeve, pinch valves are ideal for handling abrasive, corrosive, or sanitary media like slurries, powders, and chemicals. They are used for both on/off and throttling applications.
